Why Did I Get A Cavity?

Children, do you know that our teeth are like a small castle, and tooth decay is like an invading villain! The scientific name for tooth decay is caries. How does it come about? Come on, keep reading!

1. Bacteria are to blame:
• There are some bacteria in the mouth that eat the sugar in the food and produce acid, which slowly corrodes the teeth, just like little bugs digging holes in the teeth.

2. Not brushing your teeth carefully:
• If you do not brush your teeth after eating, the food residue on your teeth will become "food" for bacteria, allowing them to produce acid faster and damage your teeth.

3. Love to eat sweets and drink carbonated drinks:
• Candies, cakes, chocolates, cola, etc. all contain a lot of sugar, which makes it easy for bacteria to cause tooth decay.

4. Incorrect brushing method:
• Brushing your teeth casually, or brushing too fast or too hard will not clean your teeth thoroughly, leading to tooth decay.
